Tag - You're It!

RecruitGear now offers "tagging" for you to group and retrieve applicants by common attributes and features. There is no limit to the type of tags you can apply. The real value of using tags is that they are fully customized for your operation, and it's an easy way to group applicants without having to follow the rigid structure of folders.

It's simple. You add tags to an applicant's record by typing in a comma-delimited list such as: part time, summer help, intern, 21, closer

Later, you just select that tag to retrieve a list of all applicants who share it. Once the list is assembled, RecruitGear lets you:

  • count the size of: the group;
  • send e-mail to one or all members of the group;
  • export a mailing list to Microsoft Excel

A built-in auto-complete feature suggests tags you've already used, which saves time and helps to keep your data standardized. In the setup area, administrators can add, edit, and delete tags. If a tag is altered by the administrator, RecruitGear automatically makes the update to all records in the database.

RecruitGear Launch

After several months of brainstorming, researching, designing, developing, testing, debugging, and a lot of lost hours sleeping, the team is finally ready to launch RecruitGear.

What will RecruitGear do for me?

  • Bring your recruiting efforts online. We provide the hosted employment application designed to ask the questions that will help you evaluate a new applicant, but also minimize the time it takes to complete.
  • Post specific jobs or general opportunities and allow your applicants to determine what's right for them.
  • Login to your company's control panel, review the new applications, create checklists of the next steps you need to take on them, and share notes between the office so that everyone is aware of the status of your potential new employees.
RecruitGear was designed with simplicity in mind every step of the way. No one wants to train their staff on a brand new process that makes recruiting more painful than it was before. No one wants to pay $100's of dollars a month for a lot of features that they'll never use. Anyone looking for a way to hire online, in its most effective form, needs a way to collect applications and process them in a back-end.

Sure, RecruitGear does a lot more than this, but the focus of the product has been what hiring online needs first to be successful. You'll be able to:
  • send e-mails to groups of applicants in the application
  • define criteria that let you quickly pre-qualify someone as a person who initially appears to fit your needs
  • export excel documents that you can use internally to create mailing lists
  • alter the look and style of your own employment application
  • much, much, more
but at the end of the day, it still comes down to welcoming that potential applicant with a simple application, and giving yourself the opportunity to quickly evaluate it when submitted.

We aimed to provide an application that is quick to sign up, learn, and use. You don't have to worry about hosting it, keeping it secure, or improving it - these are things that the application does for you. We're excited about the future of the product, and hope to hear from you soon!
